As you know, the World Health Organization has
raised its pandemic alert for H1N1 (swine) Flu to Phase 5,
indicating that a global outbreak of the disease is imminent. It
has advised all countries to immediately activate pandemic
preparedness plans.
To ensure members are aware of and take the necessary
precautions for responding safely and effectively during this
outbreak, the IAFF has developed a Remember the Basics tip sheet, an Interactive Resource Guide and a
comprehensive database of additional
resources.
We will continue to update these resources as
events warrant.
